The Wizard of Wonderland, often simply referred to as The Wizard, is the main villain of the third Care Bears movie The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland. Though not based on any particular character from Lewis Carroll's original novel, he does take over the lead antagonist role usually associated with the Queen of Hearts.
Appearance[]
He is a tall, lanky man wearing black and red robes with a large mantle and checkerboard pattern running down the middle, and wearing a tall black miter hat. He somewhat resembles a chess piece, specifically the bishop. He also has a thin mustache and five digits on each hand.

As the crafty court magician and royal adviser to the queen, he yearns to become the King of Wonderland to bring order to it, and is willing to take any underhanded steps to achieve his goal, including kidnapping the current Princess. He is very cunning and tricky, pretending to want to help to bring the Princess back, for who's disappearance he was responsible.
Together with his henchmen Dim and Dum, he attempts to stop the Care Bears from both finding the real Princess and using a girl named Alice who looks like the real Princess as a substitute to stop his coronation.

Trivia[]
- He is very similar to the Vizier from the Care Bears Nutcracker Suite.
- His chess-piece like appearance is rather strange, as the kingdom he serves is a kingdom of cards.
- After saying the line "With everything as I command!" during his song, lightning flashes, Alice looks frightened, and the Wizard briefly makes a terrifying face, resembling some kind of monster. However, he quickly regains his composure and finishes the song.
- His outfit is based on the bishop chess piece.
- In the Marvel UK Care Bears comics, he appears briefly, and is wearing a white robe instead of a black one.
- He is the only character in the entire movie to pronounce the Cheshire Cat's name correctly.
- He sorta bears a resemblance to Jafar in Aladdin.
